Jaipal Singh Poems
Sometimes, life takes a such twist and turn It moves ahead and you are left far behind Perhaps to make you learn a lesson or two Or to live in regret and repentance all time.
I was too slow You were way smart I lacked courage You were pretty bold.
All human beings feel anger At one time or the other But those who learn anger management And practise how to express it...
An era has passed Things have changed No hope to see you ever
If I had to make A choice between The fragrance of The bountiful roses
Life Is An Epic
Life is like an epic Some pages are dull While others are exciting Some pages transpire gloom
God's most imaginative And best creation to date In the Eden Garden The man and woman -
Does the mighty Sun Restrict light for self? Do the rain clouds
The irony of Our education system is It grooms us to compete And secure a job
A self-centric approach And years of sickness Has rendered her So irritable and impatient...
I see relationships People are unhappy So desperate to break But for compulsions
Happiness eludes - 'Cause people see past better And present worse than it.
The Greatest Healer
He couldn't imagine A life without her Yet survived a lifespan To live without her.

Sometimes, life takes a such twist and turn
It moves ahead and you are left far behind
Perhaps to make you learn a lesson or two
Or to live in regret and repentance all time.
I still remember the moment, I saw her in life
As if the heart had stopped beating
As if I had forgotten my breathing
A case of camaraderie and love at first sight.
She was around for a reasonable time
Yet I remained ignorant till the final goodbye
If a relationship is for togetherness and belonging
Or for the love, longing, absence and loss in time.
Unaware then, the day...
