Kept At A Distance Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Kept At A Distance

Loss of innocence is being hidden from all eyes,
kept at a distance on purpose, never to be felt
closely, being put off on the roller coaster of
life and living.

Sounds combining with colors of the rainbow,
their auras tasting so sweetly in the edges of
nighttime bliss, covering up the atrocities of
rape.
