Internal Battle Poem by Brittany Roper

Internal Battle

Rating: 5.0

My energy is spent
It's all gone...
At home and at school
There is so much to do!
So much responsibility
I'm tired.
Staying organized is a full-time job
Piles everywhere I turn
An overwhelming sensation
I just shut down.
But, I have so much to do!
My mind races
I freeze with anxiety
I try to focus
To work
A never ending battle

I've been there. I'm glad you found a moment to write down your feelings. I believe that is therapeutic.

It's hard to be a working mother with a small child and large husband to take care of, but you do a wonderful job! Keep plugging away!
