Inspiration To Be Sad Poem by Dillian Hansen

Inspiration To Be Sad

story-*Everything was dark and sad
then she took away my pain
presenting me with a candle,
She hid my sorrow in its flame.

"Protect this candle dearly
experience peace with its array.
beware the flame goes out
your world returns to grey."*

(On this, the most beautiful day)

I let my guard down for a second
and the flame had blown away.
How could this have happened
'On this the most beautiful day'

Sitting at a bench
had the woman led me astray?
Now in the distance she approaches
'On this, the most beautiful day'

She shook of depth and sorrow
making it clear she wasn't okay.
'Please come sit with me my friend'
'On this, the most beautiful day.'

She comes to sit beside me,
I turn to her and say
''so what is it that has happened,
'On this, the most beautiful day? '"

"You'll soon know how I feel,
the darkness will be here to stay."
"How could you come to me and say that
'on this, the most beautiful day? '"

Her body then went limp
and her balance then gave way,
She mumbled 5 words before she died,
"My flame blew out yesterday."
