In Your Eyes Poem by Alexander Thomas

In Your Eyes

Your eyes are deeper than clear skies,
In your eyes true love never dies,
Your innocent eyes can never tell lies,
In your eyes your lonely soul cries.

Your eyes the stars adorn,
In your eyes I was reborn,
But your eyes I will forever mourn,
With the destiny from which we were torn.

The light of your eyes was my prize,
A journey to infinitely surprise,
In my dreams to perpetually reprise,
Illuminating my heart like a gorgeous sunrise.

Yet from the silver, watery grave,
Even fame and glory cannot save,
To your gaze I am eternally a slave,
For your adoration I will always crave.
