In Our Later Stage Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In Our Later Stage

In our later stage

I bet
And let you know
It does not go or perish
But remain in memory as very fresh

At least in one's life span
There shall be no plan
To keep in store
Everything for use in future

Some of good gestures
Shown to you by neighbors
May always appear on screen
And everything is clearly seen

Life may not present
Lovely sides or send
Some good moments
But allow you to enjoy past noble acts of others

Sometimes we remember
The kind old lady who always whispered
Some blessing words
For bright sun shine always

It is not related in our later stage
But we are moved with our age
When no one has time to sit by our side
We are left alone to think and decide
