<≪ In My Tea Stall Poem by Abdul Wahab

<≪ In My Tea Stall

In my tea stall
I boil milk with water
Add some sugar
And leave over it some tea leaves
After cooking it properly
I serve it in cups to my customers
Nothing else I do
I swear
My friend
Yet they do not come to my stall
They say if they have a cup of tea
They will be unholy
If they touch me
Their faith will go
And a great sin they commit
When they cross my shadow
Now in my tea stall
I do not sell tea

But I buy boycotts
Economic, social, political
And count them
Like cash
When humiliation comes in many

n my tea st

But i buy lust
And thirst
and barter them
with my raw flesh.
