In My Arms Poem by Matthew McDougal

In My Arms

When I wrap you in my arms at night,
Feel your skin so soft and warm,
My cheek upon your neck,
Your hair like silk against my brow,
I can hear your heart beating,
It is the ultimate Love song,
A melody I cherish above all others,
My own finds a perfect rhythm with yours,
For we are so in tune with each other,
So much a part of one another,
We were simply made to be together,
We have a Love like no other,
A bond that goes beyond our hearts,
Past our bodies and souls,
A Love that shall last into the depths of eternity,
The real definition of True Love.
