I Awake



I awake in the dark,
And reach out to you,
Finding you next to me,
I am at peace,
The sound of your breath,
Calms my spirit,
The touch of your skin,
Warms my body,
The Love in your heart,
Soothes my soul,
It is you that brings me joy,
It is you that fills my need,
It is you that I shall Love,
Today,
Tomorrow,
And Forever.
