In Different Form Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In Different Form

The legend says clearly about human birth
With so many ifs and buts up to death
Hindu mythology says clearly about universe
The human body is assumed after many previous births

It may look ridiculous
But there exists
Famous belief
That provides little relief

The dog is considered as last turn
To come in this world as human
So Hindus treat dogs well
Provide food as religion speaks well

Let us consider it as unique
Occasional queue
Where one takes birth
And departs after death

What one thinks and performs?
It is altogether in different form
But we owe existence to the blessings
Ask always mercy in our offerings
