Imminent Cure? Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Imminent Cure?

From Pauling down to Marc Levine
it took a while but now we've seen
that lines of cancer cells will die
inside a vitamin, oh my!
Do you not see that cause for joy
or are you one it will annoy.
The implications are so great
that all the world should now debate
what steps be taken toward health
and re-arrangement of great wealth.

I promise you, we shall not walk
away from this, for idle talk.
But battles will soon rage for all
until the bastards trip and fall.
For what we have is half the answer
but no one wants a cure for cancer.

Money...the root of all evil...and perhaps many diseases, too. Good poem, Herbert! Raynette
