Images Of Reform Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Images Of Reform

Watching life, looking into its circumference at times,
noticing each and every detail as it forms itself into
images of positive reform in life.

Embracing the well-kept secrets tenderly hidden in spheres
of a photographic memory, lifting spirits when searching
through them.

Thoughts circling, taking into account the ideas swimming
towards an open mind, listening and positioning many details
into poetry while this mind is racing.

Running away from the incessant cruelty and inexplicable tor-
ture of mean words from others, escaping through mind and in-
nellect, picking up pen and writing through rhythms.

Expressing sound ideas and their definitions of life, touch-
ing upon the essence and existence of this temporary life
here on earth.

Thinking over every memory as they come to an innate mind
and intellect, touching this heart and delving into its feel-
ings that have been folded and broken in a disheartened being.

In this sometimes cruel and inhumane life, wanting only to
disappear into an interior bluened light forever, where
there's an intense peace and tranquility that gives serenity
to this quiet rebel of a poet.
