If I Were A Toaster Poem by Noah Body

If I Were A Toaster

Rating: 3.5

If I were a toaster and you were a loaf of bread I'd toast you golden brown

If I were a piece of string and you were a top I'd set your world to spinning

If I were a pen and you were a piece of paper I'd draw beauty all over you

If I were a dog and you were a cat I'd save you from all of the other dogs

If you were the sky then I'd want to be a bird to soar in all your beauty

If you were the ocean then I'd be the rocks so you could beat your fury out against me

If you were the wind then I'd be a balloon lost in your embrace

If you were the sun then I'd be the ice pack melting in your heat

If I were a server then you'd be the operating system that keeps me running

If I were a stream then you'd be my banks that I caress ever so gently

If I were an eagle then you'd be the wind beneath my wings that keeps me aloft

If I were alive then you'd be every single beat of my heart, forever and a day plus one

Not sure what this is. It's totally random thoughts that came out of my subconscious.
Not really a poem but almost.
