Smiling Faces Poem by Noah Body

Smiling Faces

Rating: 5.0

To the world I show my smiling face
The mask that hides every last trace
Of the darkness that is inside me
May the world never be able to see
The pain I hide or the tears I cry
As the world outside passes me by
No one ever looks to really see
The cracks that are inside of me
They merely glance at my smiling face
The one that hides every last trace

So good to read this honest form of hiding pain. You have mastered many gifts. One is surviving this the other for hiding.

Excellent expression about life and how someone has smiles on his face only to camouflage his pain. Nice poem. Thanks.
