Idle Mind Poem by Srivishnu Rentala

Idle Mind

Leave a pond alone
And it will brim with filth.
Tattered old mansions
Gather nothing but dust.
Planks, nails and rods
Shelter brown rust.
And just like that,
Don't let yourself fade away
Because a mind swimming
in its own pool of idleness
is more dangerous
Than a tsunami of lunacy.
