I Want You Poem by Viola Grey

I Want You

Rating: 4.3

You remain that one golden light
I lean towards
to keep demons of desperate fear
from eating my hope.
Reality bites the hand that dreams
as we reach towards another's heart,
a steady beating craving
which keeps us alive.
I want you.
I want you today
more than yesterday,
and nothing will devour that desire.
