I want to lay by the side of the river
Where in the swans swim in pairs
Where to come the young lasses of
The village to take bath and dry their hairs
I want to lay by the side of the river
On the bed of sands closing my eyes
Where to come birds of many colors
To hop and chirp and towards the sky fly
I want to lay by the side of the river
And watch the clouds grey and white
I watch the flowers sway in the wind
And shine in the morning's soothing light
