I Want To Be Lonely Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

I Want To Be Lonely

Rating: 5.0

I want to be lonely whole day
In deep silent without talking
Watching the sun rising and pacing
The curved sky and setting in the west

I want to sit silently under
A tree with no one around to
Disturb me. No newspaper to read,
No tv to watch and without dreaming

I want to live each second
To myself. To feel the time
Passing inside me like a stream
And getting old without my knowing

A sad but peaceful thought. Reminds me of being a child. I had a weeping willow tree I would sit under and stare at the sky until it was time to leave. Love this, thank you.
