I Shall Accept Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Shall Accept

I shall accept

Feel pulse
And repulse
Any kind of ill feeling
As human being

What have we to do?
To prove
Liking or disliking
For poor or king

Why I love white
And black to hate
Not only individuals
But people from many nations

So I inject
And act
In human interest
In capacity as best

I shall form all colors
With white as major
To spread message of love and peace
I shall charge no fees

My head shall remain bowed down
And never rise of its own
Unless people demand to raise in defiance
I shall accept their sentence

I Shall Accept
