I Remember That, So Must You Poem by Noah Body

I Remember That, So Must You

Rating: 5.0

I wonder the halls all alone
Silence echoes with a groan

Bounces off the walls
To my soul it calls

Wounded so very deep
Pain is never cheap

Bought slowly over time
Ever weeping, pain sublime

Tears stream down my cheeks
From my eyes endless leaks

Battered heart bloody torn
Rue the day that I was born

But know that all's not sorrow
Bad today but there's tomorrow

Each new day is a new start
Another chance for my heart

Another beginning, this is true
I remember that, so must you

Yes there is always tomorrow. Without hope where would the world be. Your ink expresses so much. Always wonderful to read your work and I thank you for reading mine. You are one tough cookie! Bless you Tony.... you so deserve it! ! ! ! ! !
