I Might Be A Poet Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Might Be A Poet

Rating: 5.0

If I could say
How beautiful this morning is
And how much meaning
Is given in life
By this light
And this long winding Jerusalem city street
I might be a poet-

But all I can do
Is try to survive in old age
By writing a few lines for Eternity
Which even I will not read again.
