I'M Sorry Poem by Irene D..

I'M Sorry

Rating: 5.0

I`m sorry little childhood girl
For ruining your dream world
And messing things up
Till a heart broke of a little girl

I'm sorry mother, for causing you grief
Though you were never there for me, whenever I weeped
And I'm sorry that you'll never understand
Because since you don't, I can't wait to leave.

I'm sorry First sister, that I never explained
And all you knew was what pitiful mom had to say
I cry and I hurt
But you only back up mom's pain.

I'm sorry Second sister, for walking the same road
You at least know better what it's like with this load
And you've heard my voice
And helped thaw the cold.

I'm sorry all, for being me
For being messed up and letting you see
But saying still nothing
So none of you understand me.

I'm sorry myself for mistreating you
For having no confidence, self-love, and hiding truth
Sorry for the zipper on your mouth
That wouldn't shut up but still never let what's real through.

I've made my apologies, now please let me go
Since all this suffocating has made me hate my home
All I want, is to run away
To where all of you and my problems will leave me alone.
