I Love You Mom Poem by Don MacIver

I Love You Mom

Though lost to the heavens, candlelight burns
Now and evermore in your memory
In darkness of the night I hear your voice
Gentle with the grace your words still carry
This day will forever remain your own
In our hearts so treasured, always be
Here by our side, in our midst, in our dreams
Our guardian angel, our promise keep

For you and our heavenly fathers hold
A lifetime of blessings our souls embrace
Each night as we bough our heads in prayer
Giving thanks for abundant moments shared
Now fly in the freedom our love transcends
In happiness, light and eternal peace
For born as we were in comforting arms
We now live by your teaching, love and grace

May this day forever remain dear in our hearts
Sacred and cherished in celebration
Love always, your daughters, your sons

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
