I Keep On Telling I Am Good

I keep on telling I am good
But it doesn't change my sad mood
I would be happy if I could
But the world is cruel and shrewd
I put on clothes I am not rude
But I feel like I am stark nude
I am starving though there is food
But there's no one like Robinhood
It's God's will I have understood
But my heart burns like a firewood

Everybody is born good. Circumstances shape him into bad. Once he understands the tricks of fate, he comes back to good nature. From the cries you make, one can conclude that your mind is benign. Best wishes Andalib.

Great poem! That is pretty much me right there. Always having to hind your feelings and keep everything inside, starving for love and affection and freedom but having your heart riped out anyway. Longing for so much more! ! ! Truely enjoyed this piece! ! !
