I Imagine This Poem by Neela Nath Das

You imagine me
as a beautiful little
girl who laughs and leaps
with the rhythm of the
wind!
I
imagine you as cupid
with five arrows.
We will attend
a poetry workshop!
In
the crowd
of poets you will get
lost and suddenly
along the avenue of
serene trees, I'll see
you
with a poetess.
You will hold her hand
softly, lest her
tender fingers get hurt!
Both
of you are laughing
as two happy doves.
My time will hang
on the wall of eternity.
But,
This will be the last
scene of me before you.
But, you won't know- - - - -
because, in search of
of a quiet place,
you
will get vanished with her,
in the zero point.
Me,
with folded fist
will be back to catch
the sodden poem
which
will drip from
my wet eyes as dew-drop,
pure but condensed.
