I Have Questions For The Moon Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

I Have Questions For The Moon

Rating: 5.0

I have so many questions to ask you moon
Like why do you wax and wane like the pain
In my heart and go to hide when I most need you
In the morning hours of the day

I have so many dreams associated with you moon
Like plucking you from the sky like a fruit
And eating you raw sitting under a tree remembering
My broken love and shedding tears
A nice revenge for your carelessness

I have so much love in my heart for you moon
For your charm that pulls me towards you when
The clouds and the sun clear the way for you
To appear in the sky and let me remember my lost
Love and you go on weeping the stars across the lawn

It is so true. The moon is so poetic. Yet, innocent

Nice poem, Anil. Loving can hurt sometimes. But please do not pluck the moon like a fruit. We might still need it. Lol
