I-Have-Changed>>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

I-Have-Changed>>>

Rating: 5.0

night has taken me
dreams of tomorrow
those lovely scenes
gone beneath ground
rivers turn shallow
littered with rocks
leafless bamboo stand
firm to coming storm

why, word i can muster
i look back i could cry
a grass shoot bravely
pointing to eastern sun
a new hope for this land
rain a welcome blessing
come, ease their thirst
tears dripping my cheeks
