I'D Give You The Moon Poem by Catlin Kehoe

I'D Give You The Moon

Rating: 2.8

I'd give you the moon,
If that would make you glad.
Because lately something is wrong,
Lately you've been sad.

I'd give you the moon,
If it would put a smile on your face.
I'd even wrap it up for you,
In a nice box and some lace.

I'd give you the moon,
If that's what you desire.
Because seeing you like this,
Sets my heart on fire.

I'd give you the moon,
What I tell you is true.
I wouldn't lie baby,
Because I love you.

I always thought saying you would give someone the moon was lame cause how can you give something away that isn't your and that is so far away and then I realized it wasn't the moon you were giving them it's the fact that they would go as far as giving you the moon to make you see that you love them and want them to be happy and they would do something kind of impossible to make you see that.
