I Concede Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Concede

It made me to smile
For foolish act and style
"How impatiently had I cried"?
And then to friends lied

She was not responding
And not even corresponding
The eyes contact too was forbidden
The change was noticed all of sudden

Do not tease
Spare me please
I get scared
How can I dare?

Oh, but you are allowed
When I am not swallowed
By fear and in good mood
Silently I will chew it as tonic or food

I found her reasonable
Sweet and beautiful
Anybody would want her as friend
But she is differently built

Alright I now concede
And decide
We shall move with consent
I shall always be with you and present
