I Close My Eyes
I close my eyes.
I see your face.
The image of you
I can't erase.
I toss at night.
I cannot sleep.
My thoughts of you
Go too deep.
The night becomes day
And time moves on.
And soon
Another day is gone.
I close my eyes.
I see your face.
The image of you
I can't erase.
Can't break the cycle.
Don't know how.
If I swore I would
I'd break that vow.
