I Am Poet Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I am poet
So can not be quiet
Each object is beautiful
Appealing and fruitful

What do we do?
Do not prove literally true
Make it a mess
Then move with gloomy face

Is that so difficult?
To offer a wink with insult
Why not a simple smile?
When all have to walk many miles

I pray the god
To give a clear word
At the time birth
That he will be asked when come after death

What did he do and act?
What was reason behind or fact?
Punishment for wrong and entry for good
This must be message and be understood

We all know so much damage is done
When river is in spate and obstacles are to be overtaken
Such is the life and struggle has to be on
Yes some principles are not to be by gone

I may have been rich or poor
Or beggar knocking the door
Yet life is with beautiful soul
We remember almighty with prayer's call

So remember and act
It has single tract
One goes away and does not come back
We all are in readiness to pack
