(Seychelles)

I am me, I am what I am

Look in my hands, yes my blood is rushing
Tell me my future? Do you think you know me?
If you knew me, you would not speak those words to me.
Look at me, see through my eyes, I will show you what I see.
I can show you how beautiful you are to me.
I can make you feel, what I feel.

I am me, I am I
I am who I am
I am Sharon, and no one can change that.

I love like it is the first time
I give all that I can, even my last bread
I have forgiveness but I never forget.

I can make you love
I can make you lust
I can make you blinded by beauty

I am flesh, I am blood, I bleed, I feel
I am what I am
I AM HUMAN, I have a soul
But if you love me, you can have all of me

I drip honey from my lips
I blossom flowers from my figure tips
I linger in your bed like sweet memories

I am what I am
I am me
I am me, and I was made for you.

If you knew my heart then you will know the whole me.

In the end we can only ever be ourselves. It's just often so damn hard for others to see that person though. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
