Dream Poem by .... Chetty

Dream

A fairy kissed my cheeks and ran away
His eyes where as green as the grass in the fields
When I turned around and suddenly the field went red like wild fire
I ran and hid behind the trees
I saw his eyes piercing through the leafs

It was all just a dream, but I remembered his face
For in reality he was the man who took my hand
He took me to the lakes under the dark night
He placed me into his boat as he rowed away following the stream under the moon's beam
I stared at his eyes
His eyes spoke a thousand words that the wind couldn't translate
Not a word was spoken from his lips as I watched him rowed down the silver stream

The branches was dancing to the winds rhythm
His dark hair shimmered under the moon's rays
His green eyes light the dark like a torch through my soul
Even though his lips where silent, I swear his eyes spoke a thousand words

With no idea as to what destination he was taking me
All I could hear was the sound of the water, as he kept rowing the boat
I saw a halo around his body, right where he sat under a beautiful glimmer

I crept up slowly to him, so afraid of touching him
I whispered in his ears
Sail, sail me away,
Row, row me away
Away under your angel wings
Don't kiss me my love for I might wake up from this beautiful dream
