I am a stream
- - - - - - - - -
From mountain crest
To my placid surface
I keep on flowing
And in me a drop of rain
Finding its destiny
Ahead I am surging
The woodland vistas amid
I toss with bubbles
Where rocks impede
Yet keep on flowing unyielding
And each travail
Gracefully accommodating
Up and down all around
Plunging in headlong
To satisfy a sea's insatiable greed
A journey from peaks
To the surface placid
Comes not without rhythm and rhyme
Now listen to me
To find where you need to be
In the lap of peace
Get through this creek
Then you will know
How to pursue dreams
