Hurricane Poem by Marlee Lords

Hurricane

Rating: 5.0

Because she
was luminescent,
So bright,
And so beautiful,
But she had
an immense
sadness within,
A darkness,
A storm,
A hurricane,
That no one
could control
and no one
could survive,
She was too intense
for anyone to
ever understand her,
No one was
ever brave enough
to embrace
the hurricane she was,
And maybe that
was alright,
Because some things
are too beautiful
to ever be touched.

The darkness, storm, hurricane inside a lady is beautifully narrated in a very simple and lucid way. The clarity of express is praise worthy. Congrats Marlee! Thank you for sharing
