Beautiful Disaster Poem by Marlee Lords

Beautiful Disaster

Rating: 4.9

She's a beautiful disaster,
The human contradiction,
So alight with hope,
Yet so laden with despair,
She's the breath in the morning,
And the whisper at night,
She is sunshine
in the summer,
And a blizzard
in December,
She's the calm
autumn breeze,
She's the gentle
spring shower,
She is powerful,
She is calm,
She's a storm.
A hurricane,
Yet, she is the sunlight,
She is the sky,
The rock and the air,
She is the void,
She is a comet,
She is everything
and nothing
all in one,
An enigma,
The human contradiction,
She is
A beautiful disaster.

A good depiction of an enigmatic contradiction 'beautiful disaster' - an insightful paradox, well articulated and nicely brought forth with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Marlee.
