How Long Might An Hour Be? Poem by Ryan Muddiman

How Long Might An Hour Be?

How long might an hour be?
When tragic fate, its head gives rise
When ever longing for nights reprise
When bitter winds inhabit thee
How long might that hour be?

An hour for a saving grace
An hour more to douse my fright
By chance the favourable may replace
A prayer, a plea, a plight

An hour more to love...
and not be left wanting for an eternal moon.
How long might that hour be?
