One day
Out of the blue
A postcard through the door
"It's been 10 years! How are you? "

The postcard pictured France
Is this where he had ended up by chance
My oldest friend Bill
I had always wondered what he had been up to
This last 10 years
Will this postcard explain it?
I'm sure it will

We last spoke aged 20
The postcard explained
Well now Im 30
And living in Spain
I got married
Then Divorced
Now I'm married again
To a Spanish lady Isabella
And we live in her native Spain
We have children
A boy and a girl
Aged 6 and 3
And a holiday apartment
In France
Nice to be exact
You must visit if you get the chance

The years have been long without
Here in my life
Please write to me soon
If I heard from you
I'd be over the moon
