Rain Poem by Karl Newton

Rain

Rating: 4.5

I love the smell of rain
That moisture in the air
As I wonder these streets
So fare

Sometimes I just sit and stare
At rain drops trickling off the leaves
Before falling on the ground
I love the sound
Of raindrops
Hitting the ground
So peaceful and profound

Nothing helps me sleep more
Then the sound of rain pitta pattering
Outside my door
So calm and soothing
Soul smoothing

At times I hate the pain
When I'm caught out in it
In a rush
Drives me insane
But life is all about perspective
And it's a wise man who knows
Without some rain
A flower will never bloom
So never mind
The odd tiny
Shower

A wonderful detail and effect of a natural phenomenon. Thanks
