Heart, love tones

When a heart is broken
with no noise here on earth
but in the skies
That is love!

When eyes are heavy
with the salty tide
tears... not flowing out
wetting you inside
That is love!

While listening harsh with an ease
some words so soft make you freeze
That is love!

There is frankness as much as lie
but there is space
hard to melt the ice on lips
but all it is written on your face
That is love!

While leaving you...
Life... no more kind
A smile twinkles in your mind
That is love!

While going there...
when it is due
where death is sad
waiting for you
That is life!

    Your love is divine love and your life is not this life but an unending life that comes after death. It's a nice poem. (Report) Reply

    That's love, that's life, the later comprising the former, a beautiful poem, you have both rythm and power of thought, a good combination. Press ahead but in a cautious way, giving yourself time to ponder deeply before reflecting. I liked your poetry, keep it up, without falling a victim of praise.
    Best wishes and regards

    you ve expressed it very nicely indeed Ali...love and life...you can make this life a heaven if you look at it with love..but it's easier said than done..cause so hard to fix the broken hearts..

    cheers

poet George Gordon Byron

It is the hour when from the boughs
The nightingale's high note is heard;
It is the hour -- when lover's vows
Seem sweet in every whisper'd word;
And gentle winds and waters near,
