Growing up with sisters can be fun at times, but when
you're the oldest, the younger ones get in their sep-
arate clicks, leaving out the older ones.

There's not a closeness, because of the age difference,
but all are loved throughout life anyway, each goes
their own way, finding things that appeal to them.

Which is very normal, in this poet's case preferring
getting an education, traveling and being totally in-
dependent and on her own.

Sisters preferring boys, make-up and having fun, our
brother was always intent on work, doing his own thing
and putting up with his sisters throughout the years
we were growing up.
