Grave Threat Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Grave Threat

Grave threat

We are all good people
Who wish to struggle?
With honor and dignity
To attain the parity

We know that society is imbalanced
And poor are distanced
From main stream
And excluded from team

They are approached
When idea is vouched
To offer united front
And their presence is wanted

So here they join as mass
With reference as special class
Who shall bear the bullets from gun?
But never leave the field and run

So when it comes to the people
We all cease to be an individual
Stand as one against oppression
And resist such an aggression

So we shall gain
With least pain
The freedom on earth
Despite the grave threat from death
