Gotham City Poem by Adegbite Adeyinka

Gotham City

A city of justice,
Of purity and sheer peace;
Where Jason returns the fleece
And no war kills its bliss.

A city of equality,
With utmost disdain for duplicity,
In an atmosphere of tranquility
A residence for unity.

A city of morality
With a radiance of spirituality
Like the Olympus City,
The home of Greek divinity.

A city for all and sundry,
Under the roof of a blue sky;
Where the sun, after the cloud's cry,
Comes to mop its land dry.
