Tomorrow, Tomorrow Poem by Adegbite Adeyinka

Tomorrow, Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

Tomorrow, Tomorrow
Who holds the morrow?
Who let's today pass
And knows what the next has?

Tomorrow, Tomorrow
Who could ever know?
What, to each man, thou will hand
Who knows beforehand?

Tomorrow, Tomorrow
For whom does thy light glow?
The humble and the needy
Or the proud and the greedy?

Tomorrow, Tomorrow
What do I sow?
Will the clouds rumble
Or the earth grumble?

Tomorrow, Tomorrow
None knows the morrow
'Tis why, thee, I pray
Let good things come my way
