Goodnight's Prayer Poem by Adegbite Adeyinka

Goodnight's Prayer

Rating: 5.0

Guard the pane of my heart
Let not foes steal the peace;
Paint my dream a solemn art
All I ask of you is this
Make me ride on chariot dream
Love for others, in me, grow;
And when I wake in morning's gleam
Give me strength, my boat, to row
