Goodbye Dustin Poem by Jay Bunny

Goodbye Dustin

Instead of giving you the benefit of the doubt
I’m walking away quietly, whispering this I won’t shout
If I could steal your thoughts, I’d hope they’d be of me
I’d give you some of mine and maybe help you see
That once upon a real good time, cupid shot you with a gun
Then she got away, in her memories you’ll stay.
remembering all the fun
Thank you for the memories some foggy and not so clear
I’m ending this chapter, I’m safe over here
I think you’ve got some issues deeper than your eyes
Which gives away too much, you’re not like other guys
Have fun bending rules before you make them
And loving hearts just to brake them
I’m taking off the fog and you can use your high beams
I’m already gone, see you in your dreams.
