Lullaby, It's sleeping time
One more day to dream away
Rest my head lay on my bed
Lights are off the movement stops

If I could do this day again
I'd stay and play and make more friends
I'd give more love and make more peace
It's time to drift away to sleep

I hope I don't run into you
The real truth is I hope I do
And then you would just look at me
And hold me touch me, be with me

I'm so excited to close my eyes
But a dream of you is not so wise
I cried so hard when we were through
Your no good for me it hurts it's true

If in my dreams I see you there
Would you be cold or would you care
And in this world where ever you are
Do you wish for me when you see a star

I lie to myself and say that I do
But I just lied again because I really do
In my dream in my wish upon the star
Thinking about you opens my scars

Lullaby, It's sleeping time
This rest I give will be short lived
I want to see you and feel the pain
And I'll dream that dream over and over again

Silent cries myself to sleep
In Love withe pain within my dream
Perhaps I'll shoot you down this time
Take back my heart because it's mine

I'll dream of Mr. Right for me
Go away now out of my dreams
Closing my eyes sealed with my tears
Loving myself overcoming my fears

Pretending I don't think of you
Is Getting easier to do
Hush little me and don't you cry
Go to sleep and sing your lullaby
