Good Christians Build Strong Bridges Poem by Hebert Logerie

Good Christians Build Strong Bridges

Rating: 5.0

Good Christians build solid bridges
For everybody, who is walking on the edges
Of crimes, illness, hunger and starvation.

Bad politicians build barriers of isolation
That cause more hoopla for the environment,
More headaches, more pain and more torment.

At this stage, the Pope
Is our only credible hope
Bad politician doesn't destroy
The source of the dope
He or she contemplates to be the toy
Of the big dealers, the grumpy individual
Which has no decency, conscience and soul.

Good Christians build four strong walls
Put a nice roof on top, to protect humans
From the rocks of the snow, from the falls
Of the rain, and from the rays of the hot sun.

Most of us tend to forget many historical events
Remember the Berlin walls, everything that goes up
Will eventually come down. Today, you are on top
Tomorrow, you shall hit the lowest part of the tents.

Good Christians build strong bridges
For everybody, who is walking on the edges
Of sins, dangers, sufferings and destruction.

Bad politicians build tall walls of humiliation
That cause more havoc for the environment,
More concerns, anxieties and violent rant.

Good Christians build strong bridges
Bad politicians build barriers and hurdles
Good Christians protect us from razor-sharp edges.

P.S. I approve this poem.
