Gone Without The Wind Poem by Hebert Logerie

Gone Without The Wind

Melt away like the frost on the wintry dew
Disappear like the shamelessly aborted cloud
In other words you can fly away, I’m no longer proud
Of you. You’re no longer part of my crew.

You do not need the northeaster wind to set sail
You can happily go away, you can sadly fly away
Let me follow my imagination, let me go my way
I no longer want to see you. Listen to the bell.

Bye, bye. You can go away without the lazy wind
It is your time to take it like a professional
The sky is wide open; leave me alone on the sand.

Say farewell to a yesteryear that is gone
With the magisterial wind and the mighty mistral
Bye, bye. Go away, we are now done.
