Glaciers At Tracy Arm Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Glaciers At Tracy Arm

Surrounded by mountains
The ship makes its moves
Taking zigzag turns
Providing spectacular views.

Suddenly in front we see
View of glacier's wall
South Sawyer it's called
We're in waters of Tracy Arm.

We go in a smaller boat
To see the glacier from close
Beauty shows up in front
A marvel frozen in time.

The boat then moves back
And takes turn after turn
To reveal a second glacier
Sawyer it is standing tall.

On our way back to the ship
We stop at ice water falls
Of rolling white streams
And thinly layered curtains.

Memorable's this journey
To places where nature hides
With waters green and blue
And dense ice in colors.
